Who is he?

Well, i'm a 31 year old bloke who originates from just outside Oxford (Kidlington to those who really want know!) but now living in Leeds.

Went to the same school as The Candyskins although later than they did! and it was from band such as them, Ride, Radiohead and Supergrass that my thirst for all things great in the music world developed. that is after years of listening to all the great music from Lloyd Cole and the Commotions, The Smiths, U2, Dexys Midnight Runners, Billy Bragg and (little known in the UK) The Hoodoo Gurus.

At school i was a part of a band with a few small changes in line up and names over the years. The bands being the following (apologies to anyone i may have forgotten!):

1988-1989 - T.A.B. - Me, Nathan Franks, Warren, and a different bloke called Nathan, Mark Rivers (Puck) and later Pete Whitehead.

1989 - 1990 - Contract - Me, Pete Whitehead, Puck, Rob Mitchell and later Alex Ivanovitch

1990-1992 - Dazey Age - Me, Pete Whitehead, Alex Ivanovich, Rob Mitchell and Puck.

Not to forget Mr Paul Hamblin, who was always the unofficial member of the band with his artwork skills and general enthusiasm for music.

Next came Kegbelly, The band i fronted in my Uni Days in Dundee. Formed my band at a meeting of the Dundee Uni Bands Society, in the same room as Snow Patrol were getting together (wrong side of the room i guess!!! Ho Hum!)

Kegbelly were:

1994-1997 - Me, Barney, Michael and Gav.

I'll upload a few choice songs from that era when i get a mo.

Between 1997 and 2003 i hardly played a note. However, one Christmas that changed and a new band was born!

A Kind of spoof band called 'One Crap Voice!'
2003 - present - Me, Lee Sykes, Pete Stevens, Mark Gregory, Andrew Jackson, Mark Chillery and Gemma Carpenter.

The emphasis is on fun with this lot and fun we do have, it's all done to make the office party start with an... um.... Bang? lol

From this platform i've started writing tunes again and going to play at the Infamous 'Unplugged Leeds' nights (Wednesday 8.30pm - midnight) at the Grove Inn in Leeds. Go there if you can... it never fails to be entertaining!

That's all for now...
